windowsill gardening

(l-r: parsley and lavender sprouts)
even though i have a pretty decent sized garden going for me, i still like indoor and windowsill gardening - especially herbs for the kitchen. i have about half of my herbs hanging from tomato sauce cans i turned into planters and the other half potted below them so i'm able to utilize the entire window.
even though i cut my chives back the other day, they're growing back faster than ever
my pegboard pot rack
rosemary
(l-r: thyme and basil sprouts)

  2. If you don't have any nurseries or gardening shops near you, both Home Depot and Lowes have gardening sections with plenty of seeds - even KMart and the like should have small seed displays.

  3. i think it's too late in the season for most places to stock seeds. i did end up finding one at the grocery store today, i think they are called lavender ladies, hopefully they work out! love your blog, i just found it yesterday.

  4. You could also try over the internet - amazon, for example, has about 455 results when you type in "lavender seeds".
